Event Description:

Begin with the End in Mind: Using Backward Design to Enhance Learning Experiences and How to Design Meaningful Group Work and Cooperative Learning Experiences

When we plan learning with the end in mind, we can create more meaningful learning experiences for our students. This workshop will lead participants through the process of backward design and provide an opportunity for faculty to work on the development of syllabi and lesson plans with the end in mind.

Based on feedback from previous workshops, this workshop will provide guidance on how to skillfully incorporate group work and cooperative strategies into your classroom.

This workshop was designed specifically based on feedback from faculty who attended previous Spring 2014 workshops.
